Creamy Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 15oz cans good diced tomatoes, drained leaving some liquid.
  • 2 rounded TBS tomato paste
  • 1 TBS sugar
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 4 TBS flour
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • store bought pesto for garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Heat milk over low heat.
In blender add remaining ingredients. Process till smooth. Add to hot milk, increase heat to boil. Serve with dollop of store bought pesto on top.
