Ingredients
- 4 T white balsamic vinegar
- 2 T olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 24 slices of tomato..about 6 tomatoes
- 1/2 lb fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 24 slices (1/4 inch thick)
- 24 large fresh basil leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Combine vinegar, salt and oil; stir well with a whisk.
Place 1 tomato slice on each of 8 plates. Top each with 1 cheese slice and 1 basil leaf. Repeat layers twice, ending with basil leaves. Drizzle evenly with vinegar mixture.
Yield 8 servings (serving size: 3 tomato slices, 1 oz of cheese, 3 basil leaves and about 2 tsp vinegar mixture.
