BANANA OAT BARS

A delicious low cal snack so easy to make

Ingredients

  • 2 Large Very Ripe Bananas
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup pitted chopped dates
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar. (Optional)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 and lightly grease 9x9 baking dish with olive oil or butter

Mash bananas until no chunks remaining.

Add oats and stir

Add remaining ingredients and pat the mixture into baking dish

Bake for 30 minutes until edges just begin to crisp up and lightly brown

Place on a rack to cool. When almost cool cut into bars

Store at room temp. Will last for about 5 days
