Ingredients
- 3 T butter
- 2 Vadalia onions thinly sliced
- 1 cup red wine
- 10 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 t Dijon mustard
- 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 t pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Caramelize onion with butter. Stir in wine and thyme, cook, stirring until reduced by half. Stir in broth and cook until reduced by half. Remove thyme and whisk in remaining ingredients and keep warm.
