Ingredients
- 2 lb. yellow squash (4 medium squash)
- 1 medium onion
- 3 T margarine
- 1 egg beaten
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup dried bread crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
1. Cook squash and onions in small amount of salted water. Drain and mash.
2. Add margarine, egg, milk, and cheese to squash mixture.
3. Pour into buttered casserole dish.
4. Top with dried bread crumbs.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (from room temperature)or until crumbs are brown and mixture is bubbly.
