Ingredients
- 2 Cups Water
- 1/2 Cup or More Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Red Hot Candies
- 1/2 tsp. Red Food Coloring
- 8-10 Apples, peeled and quartered
Preparation
Step 1
Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil. Stir constantly to dissolve sugar and candies. Add apples and bring back to a boil. Lower heat and cook slowly for 10-15 minutes or to desired tenderness. Put in jars and seal. Makes nice decoration for pork roast platter or in a dish to use as a salad. Keep refrigerated.
