Fresh Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

  • 4 cups diced tomatoes (5-6 medium)
  • 3/4 cup finely diced red onion (about 1 small)
  • 1/4 cup red-wine vinegar
  • 1-2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine tomatoes, onion, vinegar, jalapeno, cilantro, salt and cayenne in a medium bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
