Strawberry Meringue Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 13 ounces sugar
  • 2 lbs strawberries
  • 2 cups whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

With egg beater, whisk egg whites until thick (but not too thick). Add 1/3 of the sugar. Whisk until holds peaks. Fold in 1/3 sugar. Put foil with Pam on cake tin til it makes an impression. Pipe meringue around in circle and fill in with knife. Make 2 bases. Bake 225 for several hours until dry. Remove from foil and cool.
Cut strawberries. Whip powdered sugar with whipped cream. Layer 1 base, cream, strawberries. Repeat
