Noodles and Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice
  • 4 ounces fine noodles
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cube chicken bouillon, or 1 tsp. chicken soup powder
  • 1 can onion soup
  • 1 clear chicken soup, or 1 heaping tsp. chicken soup powder to 10 oz boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • sauteed slivered almonds, Optional

Preparation

Step 1

Melt margarine. Brown noodles in it. Add raw rice and other ingredients and simmer until rice is done.
Cover and cook about 45 minutes. Add almonds before serving
