Easy Turkey Meatloaf

This lean turkey meatloaf makes a delicious dinner, and is perfect for leftovers! Try it with spinach and mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 package Lipton Instant Onion Soup Mix
  • 1 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon Beef Paste (dissolved in the above hot water)
  • 1 stalk celery, finely diced
  • 2 small carrots, peeled, shredded, and chopped
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Parsley Paste (or finely chopped fresh Parsley)
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix all ingredients well and turn into a 4x8-inch loaf pan (sprayed with a non-stick product if needed).

Place in pre-heated oven and cook for 35 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

VARIATION:
1 cup sliced mushrooms, or 1 cup chopped spinach or both, along with or in place of either the celery, onion or carrots.
