Cauliflower-Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 3 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1 Cauliflower head, large, chopped into florets
  • 1 Broccoli bunch, small, chopped into florets
  • 1 tsp coarse Salt
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 3 TBSP Olive Oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add Cauliflower, Broccoli and salt. Cover and cook stirring occasionally until partially tender, about 8 minutes. Add the water, cover and simmer over medium-high heat until tender and water has mostly evaporated, about 5 minutes.
Mash with potato masher. Season with pepper
