Slow-Cooker Green Beans

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 (14.5 oz) cans cut green beans, drained
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Smoked turkey wing or leg (optional)
- Pepper to taste
In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes until onion is tender.
In 4-5 qt. slow cooker, combine onions and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hrs.
