Slow-Cooker Green Beans

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 (14.5 oz) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Smoked turkey wing or leg (optional)
  • Pepper to taste



Step 1

In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 5-6 minutes until onion is tender.

In 4-5 qt. slow cooker, combine onions and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 7-8 hrs.
