- 1 Cup Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Corn Starch
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 6 Cups small red or yellow cherry plums, pitted
- 1 Tablespoon Butter

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare and partially bake butter shell. Stir together sugar, corn starch, and nutmeg, then mix with the plums. Arrange plums (cut side down if halved) in pastry shell; evenly drizzle with any remaining sugar mixture. Cut butter into small pieces and distribute over top. Bake on the lowest rack at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until plums are tender when pierced and liquid is thick and bubbly. Cool tart completely on a rack, then cover and chill. Dust tart with powdered sugar. Serve with ice cream.
