Garlic Shrimp

Ingredients

  • 4-5 Tbs. olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely minced
  • 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp. sweet paprika
  • 1 lb. medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. dry sherry
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • Fresh baguette for serving

Preparation

Step 1

1. Position racks 3"-4" under broiler and preheat. Place 2 tapas pans under broiler; preheat up to 5 minutes.

2. In a bowl, toss together oil, garlic, pepper flakes, paprika, shrimp, lemon juice, sherry, salt and pepper.

3. Immediately and carefully divide shrimp mixture among preheated pans.

4. Broil until shrimp are lightly golden, pink and opaque throughout, 4-5 minutes. Serve immediately with fresh baguette.
