Ingredients
- 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 2 medium white onions, sliced thinly
- salt and pepper
- 4 spicy italian turkey sausages (1 lb)
- 2 rolls, split and toasted
Preparation
Step 1
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil over medium high. Add onions, cook, stirring often, until begin to brown, 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, add 3/4 cup water, cover and simmer 3 minutes.
Uncover and cook, stirring often, until liquid has evaporated, 2 minutes.
Heat 1 tsp oil in small skillet, add sausages and cook until browned, 10-12 minutes, turning often. Place sausages and onions on bread.
