Ingredients
- 10 apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1 inch chunks
- 2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp lemon juics
- 1 can (15oz) peaches in extra light syrup, drained
- 2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Preparation
Step 1
Combine apples, water, and lemon juice in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat. Reduce heat to medium and simmer about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally.
Use a plastic kife to cut the paches into small pieces.
Stir the brown sugar and cinnamon into the saucepan. Simmer for 1 minute. Taste and add more sugar or cinnamon if you like. Stir the peaches. Transfer the aplesauce to a large bowl. Set aside to cool.
Use a potato masher to smash all the apples and peaches into a chunky sauce. Cover and store in fridge.
