Praline Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients

  • cook:
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3 T. whipping cream
  • when sugar melts pour into 2
  • 9 inch greased cake pans
  • sprinkle weith 3/4cup chopped pecans
  • beat:
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • add:
  • 15 oz. can pumpkin
  • 1/4 t. vanilla
  • 2 cps flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 2 t. pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • 1 t. salt

Preparation

Step 1

spoon into cake pans
bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes
cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan
praline side up, spread with cool whip
sprinkle with chopped pecans
refrigrate
