Ingredients
- 6 Johnsonville Bratwurst (or however many you need for the crowd you’re feeding)
- 12 slices of maple flavored bacon(2 pieces of bacon per brat)
- Hot dog buns(we used Francisco outdoor gourmet rolls)
- condiments to your taste(we used sweet relish, yellow mustard and ketchup)
Preparation
Step 1
•Grill brats on 300 degrees for 15 minutes. (or boil them in water on your stove to reduce grill flare-ups.)
•Remove brats from grill, (or water). Let cool until you can handle them.
•Wrap 2 slices of bacon around each brat and secure end of bacon with toothpick through the brat.
• When all the brats are wrapped in bacon, take back to grill.
• at 300 degrees, grill an additional 10 minutes, turning frequently.
