Crunchy Onion Bruschetta

This classic bruschetta recipe is even easier to make with French Fried Onions. The tomato mixture can be made ahead, simply stir in the onions just before serving.

Ingredients
- 16 slices French or Italian bread
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 large tomatoes, chopped (about 2 cups)
- 3/4 cup FRENCH'S French Fried Onions, slightly crushed
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1) RUB bread slices with garlic. Toast lightly.
2) COMBINE remaining ingredients.
3) SPOON about 2 tablespoons tomato mixture onto each bread slice.
4) Top with additional French Fried Onions if desired.
