Ingredients
- 1/2 cup blackberry preserves
- 2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves, OR
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 4 lemon wedges
- fresh thyme, sprigs
- blackberry, fresh, (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
In small sauce pan, combine preserves,onion, garlic,thyme, and mustard.
Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat.
Simmer uncovered 10 minutes or until sauce is slightly thickened.
Remove from heat. Set aside.
Put 2 Tablespoons sauce on each of 4 plates.
lace cooked fish or steak on each pool of sauce.
Serve with lemon wedges and if desired, fresh blackberries and fresh thyme sprigs.
