Lemon Snow

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp. gelatin
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Soak gelatin in cold water. Add boiling water, sugar and salt. Stir until all ingredients are dissolved. Add lemon juice. Chill until mixture thickens. Beat until foamy.

Beat in stiffly beaten egg whites until mixture starts to hold its shape.

Turn into serving dished. Chill until needed. Top with fruit or whipped cream or custard.
