GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 2 packages frozen green beans or 2 (1 pound) cans, drained
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons diced pimento
  • 1 (3 ounce) can French Fried onions

Preparation

Step 1

Cook frozen beans in salted water. Drain (if using canned beans omit salt). Combine milk, soup and pepper; pour over beans. Add 1/2 can onions; pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350deg for 20 minutes. Garnish with 1/2 can onions and pimento. Bake 5 minutes. Serves 6.
