Spice Applesauce Cake

Very strong spicy flavor.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 1/3 cup oil
• 2 cups flour
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups applesauce
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cloves
• 2 teaspoons nutmeg
• 2 teaspoons cinnamon
• 2 teaspoons allspice

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix sugar and oil; add beaten egg and applesauce. Combine dry ingredients and add to applesauce mixture. Mix well. Pour into 2 greased loaf pans and bake 65 - 75 minutes until done.
