Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 small can mandarin oranges
- Filling:
- 1 large can crushed pineapple (unsweetened)
- 1 small package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 9-10 oz carton whipped topping (LeCreme)
Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Mix cake mix, oil, eggs, and juice from mandarin oranges; then add orange slices and vanilla. Beat slowly until well mixed. Bake in 2 - 9 inch cake pans, greased and floured at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes. When completely cool, put together with filling and keep refrigerated.
Filling:
Mix together pineapple (with juice) and pudding mix. Let stand for 5 minutes. Fold in whipped topping.
