Spinach Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beep, pork, veal combo
  • 1 pkg frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/2 c chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c parmesean cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 c beef broth
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c red cooking wine
  • 1 TBSP cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350.

Mix meat, spinach, onion, egg, grated cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in large bowl.

Form into small balls and place in 1/12 quart baking dish.

Mix remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs. Bake covered for 50 minutes.
