Ingredients
- 3 medium ripe bananas - (to 4)
- 6 ten-inch metal or bamboo skewers soaked in water
- for at least 30 minutes, if bamboo
- 1/4 cup melted butter or margarine
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 cup macadamia nuts chopped finely (or substitute toasted pecans)
Preparation
Step 1
Thread one banana half (halved lengthwise) onto each skewer. Stir margarine and honey together; brush bananas generously with mixture.
Grill bananas several minutes or until slightly browned and bubbly, turning once. Brush with butter. Lightly roll bananas in nuts. Serve warm.
