Cream Sauce with Onion & Sausage

This sauce is best served with Conchiglie.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 8 oz crumbled sausage
  • 1/3 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Toss this sauce with 1 pound cooked pasta.

In a large skillet, cook onion in butter and salt until browned, then add sausage and cook until no longer pink; add cream. Toss with pasta and cheese.
