Ingredients

  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh sage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup chopped frozen spinach
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup ricotta
  • 1/2 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano

Preparation

Step 1

Toss this sauce with 1 pound cooked pasta.

In a small saucepan, butter salt over medium-low heat. Add sage and onion and cook until golden, then add frozen spinach and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and ricotta and remove from the heat. Add grated cheese when tossing with pasta.
