Ingredients
- 1 cup packed cilantro leaves and stems
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Few dashes bottled green hot pepper sauce
- 4 1/2 inch thick bone-in pork chops
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. packed brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. For cilantro pesto, place cliantro, orange juice, 3 T oil, 1/4 tsp. salt and hot pepper sauce in blender. Blend until smooth. Set aside
2. Sprinkle chops with chili powder and brown sugar; rub in with your fingers. Heat remaining 1 T oil in a 12 inch skillet over medium heat. Add chops. Cook 5 minutes or until no longer pink, turning once. Serve chops with pesto sauce
