Ingredients
- Topping:
- 4-5 large yam sweet potatoes(boil and remove skins)
- 1/2 c fresh squeezed orange juice
- 1/2 c heavy cream
- 1/3 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c butter
- 1/2 t nutmeg and cinnamon
- 1 1/2 t salt
- Combine in a small bowl.
- 1/3 c chopped pecans
- 3 T butter melted
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350.
In a large mixing bowl mash your cooked yams. Add all remaining ingredients except topping ingredients. Mix until blended then pour into a 9x13 casserole dish. Sprinkle topping mixture over the top and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes or until hot.
