Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground mustard
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2-3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese & colby jack or pepper jack cheese
  • 8 oz dry elbow macaroni - cooked & drained

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375*

Combine cornstarch, salt, mustard, & pepper in a pan. Stir in evaporated milk, water & butter.

Cook over medium high heat, stirring constantly until comes to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat.

Stir in 2 cups of cheese; until melted.

Add macaroni; mix well.

Pour into a greased casserole dish.

Top with remaining cup of cheese.

Bake at 375* for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted & golden brown.
