Make Ahead Mashed Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 cups hot, seasoned mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 4 oz cream cheese(cut into pieces)
  • 4 oz. sharp shredded cheese - grated
  • extra cheese to sprinkle on top
  • 1/2 tesp. seasoned salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

Mash potatoes w/ some milk(1/4 - 1/2 cup of milk) and butter. When well mashed, add sour cream, cream cheese and cheese. Mix well
*Do not make potato mixture to dry*
Butter casserole dish. Pour into casserole dish, sprinkle w/ seasoned salt, extra cheese and dollop w/ a few pieces of butter on top.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350 oven.
Can be made ahead, covered and refrigerated.
