Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cup coconut
  • 2 cup flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and butter.
Add vanilla and eggs [one at a time]
Beat till fluffy.
Add 1 cup flour to mixture and 1 cup of flour to coconut.
Gradually add to mix.

Bake 350 degrees in tube pan for 1 hour [or a little more]
