Mashed Potatoes-Make Ahead

Ingredients

  • 9 large potatoes
  • 1 large Pkg. cream cheese, soften
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • pinch pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 egg, beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Boil potatoes. and drain. Mash and add rest of ingredients. Beat until fluffy. Let cool slightly. Move to a large greased casserole dish.Shred cheddar cheese on top if desired.

Note:1. Can be made 5 days ahead and refrigerated.Remove from fridge 1 hour before serving and bake at 350* for 30 minutes or until heated through.
2. Can be frozen but thaw completely before heating.
