Pecan Crusted Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 6-8 (4 oz.) tilapia fillets, or any flaky white fish
  • Emeril's Essence or Tony Chachere's
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup pecan chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Season fillets with Emeril's or Tony's. In a Ziploc bag or bowl, combine flour, 1 TB Emeril's or Tony's, & pecans. In another bowl, mix egg & milk. Dip fish in egg mixture, then coat in flour mixture. In a frying pan, heat oil & fry fish 2 minutes on each side. Transfer to a 9 x 13 baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes or until brown & crisp.
