Shrimp Tacos

Ingredients

  • optional spicy slaw garnish :
  • 1 pound small or medium sized shrimp,
  • peeled and de-veined
  • 2 Tablespoons Old Bay brand fish seasoning
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 3 Tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 avocados, peeled and diced
  • 1 Tablespoon lime juice
  • 6 taco shells or heated flour tortillas
  • lettuce, tomato, and salsa fro garnish
  • red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • minced cilantro
  • minced jalapenos

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the seasoning mix, garlic, and lime juice in a bowl. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Heat the oil at medium-high, add the shrimp, and cook until pink, about 2 to 4 minutes. Remove shrimp to plate. Cook juices until thickened. Pour juices over shrimp. Serve with taco shells or tortillas, lettuce, tomato, salsa, and spicy red cabbage slaw as garnishes, if desired.
