Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 4 c. macaroni
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 5 c. milk
  • 4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package, drain. In a large saucepan over medium heat; melt butter. Blend in flour, salt & pepper gradually stir in milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and mixture begins to boil. Add cheese, stir until cheese is melted. In 3 quart casserole stir together pasta and cheese sauce. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until bubbly
