CRANBERRY-ORANGE CHUTNEY

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh orange sections
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 4 cups cranberries
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup chopped, unpeeled apple
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until berries begin to burst. Chill until serving time. Yield: 5 1/2 cups. (Perfect accompaniment to holiday meat dishes.)
