Washington Waldorf Salad

Refreshing crispy and delicious, this Washington Waldorf Salad is super simple to prepare and the combination of textures and flavors are absolutely amazing. So have at it and enjoy, I know we did!

Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh asparagus, diagonally sliced
- 4 cups Red delicious apples, cubed, unpeeled
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried whole dill weed
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 6 curly lettuce leaves
Preparation
Step 1
Drop asparagus into a large saucepan of boiling water and cook 1 minute.
Drain and plunge into ice water; drain well.
Combine apple and lemon juice in a large bowl and toss well to coat apple.
Add asparagus and raisins and toss gently.
Combine remaining ingredients and toss gently.
Cover and chill 3 to12 hours.
