Ingredients
- 3/4 cup LHJs Barbecue Sauce (see recipe)
- 4 turkey-breast steaks, 1/2"-thk (4 to 6 oz ea)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- 1 small pineapple cored, and cut into 8 spears
Preparation
Step 1
Heat grill. Place 1/4 cup of the LHJ's Barbecue Sauce in small bowl for pineapple spears; set aside.
Sprinkle both sides of turkey steaks with salt and pepper. Brush tops with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce. Arrange steaks, sauce-side down, on grill. Grill over medium-hot heat 4 to 5 minutes. Brush other sides with remaining 1/4 cup sauce. Turn and grill 4 to 5 minutes more until cooked through.
Meanwhile, grill pineapple spears 3 minutes. Turn spears; brush with reserved 1/4 cup barbecue sauce and grill 3 minutes more until heated through.
Arrange turkey steaks and pineapple on serving platter.
