Mexican Corn Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 - 8 1/2 oz pkg corn bread mix
  • 1 8 3/4 oz can cream style corn
  • 1/2 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno peppers
  • 1 8 oz cup sharp cheddar cold pack cheese spread

Preparation

Step 1

Prepare corn bread as directed on package, adding corn and jalapeno peppers. Spread half batter in a greased 8 inch square pan. Dot with half the cheese. Add remainng batter, spreading evenly; dot with remaining cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 mintues or until done. Cut in squares to serve.
