Corn and Crab Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 11/2 - 2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 can cream corn
  • 1 can kernel corn
  • 1 quart whipping cream
  • 1 pint half & half
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 lb. lump crabmeat

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onions in butter until soft add flour and stir until dissolved. Add corn, whipping cream, half and half and chicken broth.
Cook for 20 minutes on medium heat. Add crabmeat and seasoning (salt, pepper, tony;s seasoning and tabassco). Simmer on low for 20 minutes.
