Green Beans and Hazelnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. green beans, trimmed
  • l1 shallot, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 Tb olive oil
  • 1 tsp grated lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Toss green beans, shallot, garlic and oil on a large sheet pan.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Roast at 425 degrees until the beans are cooked through and light golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
Stir in the lemon zest and hazelnuts.
