Ingredients
- 3 beaten egg yolks
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup cooked pumpkin
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 envelop plain gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 3 stiffly beaten egg whites
- 1/4 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Combine egg yolks, brown sugar, pumpkin, milk, salt and spices. Cook in double boiler until thick, stirring constantly. Place gelatin in cold water and stir into hot mixture. Chill until partially set. Beat egg whites and add sugar; beat stiff. Fold into chilled mixture. Pour into pie crust. Chill and garnish with whip cream.
