Mastro's Butter Cake

Classic butter cake recipe that is delicious. And, yes, there really are 3 cups of butter in this recipe. Serve plain, or with some fresh berries and whipped cream.

Ingredients

• 3 cups butter
• 3 cups sugar
• 6 eggs
• 8 ounces cream cheese
• 3 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Add Philadelphia cream cheese; beat well. Add 3 cups flour; beat well.

Bake in a smallish, round bundt cake pan 1½ hours.
