Poppy Seed Chicken Salad and Bow Ties

Ingredients

  • 12 Oz. Uncooked Bow Tie Pasta
  • 2 Cups Chopped Grilled Chicken
  • 1 (6 Oz.) Pkg. Sweetened Dried Cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Celery
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Green Onions
  • 3 Oz. Slivered Almonds
  • 1/2 Cup Prepared Poppy Seed Salad Dressing
  • 1 Tsp. Garlic Salt
  • Salt and Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta to water, stir and return to a boil. Cook Uncovered for 10 to 13 minutes or to desired doneness, stirring ocassionally. Drain Pasta in a colander and rinse with cold water to cool quickly.

In a large bowl combine cooled pasta, chicken, driedcranberries, celery, green onions and almonds. Stir in the dressing and garlic salt. Season with salt and pepper to taste, tossing to coat well.

Cover and refrigerate until chilled.\\For a creamier dressing, blend 1/2 cup plain yogurt with poppy seed dressing before adding to salad.
