Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups peeled and grated ripe pears
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Grease and flour two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
Combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, baking powder, and pecans in bowl. Make a well in dry ingredients.
Combine remaining ingredients in separate bowl, blending well. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened.
Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 1 hour & 15 minutes or until done. Cool pans for 10 minutes before turning out onto rack to cool completely.
