Bread - Olive Bread

Ingredients

  • 12 Kalamata olives
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1/2 t. olive oil
  • l lb frozen bread loaf

Preparation

Step 1

On a lightly floured surface, pat loaf into a circle. In the center place olives, garlic and oil. Fold dough over and knead until olive mixture is fully incorporated. Shape into a 6-inch oval and place on a corn-meal dusted baking sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 40 minutes, or until top is browned and bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom. Let cool on a wire rack.
