Ingredients
- 1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 can small white onions - (15 1/2 oz) drained
- 1 package white sauce mix
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
- 1/3 cup grated Romano or Parmesan Cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse and pat dry fresh mushrooms (makes 2 1/2 cups); set aside. Prepare white sauce according to directions. Season with Italian Seasoning and black pepper.
Place mushrooms and onions in buttered one-quart casserole. Pour sauce over all. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 degrees) for 30 minutes. Serve piping hot.
