Southwest Hamburgers

Grilled hamburgers filled with velveeta pepperjack cheese and smoked paprika. These hamburgers were delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs lean ground meat
  • 1 Ranch seasoning packet
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • plain bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen seasoning mix (green and red bell peppers, onion and garlic)
  • thaw about a cup and a half in a glass bowl for 1 minute in microwave*
  • 1/4 cup Worchestire sauce
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Velveeta Pepperjack cheese cut in slices then the slices in half

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients through the cayenne pepper and mix well. If mixture is still to wet add a little more breadcrumbs until it begins to hold well. Roll meat mixture in your hands and pat flat. In the center of the patty add about a pad of velveeta, grab a little bit more meat to cover cheese.

Grill on the BBQ grill on a medium high flame three to five minutes on each side or until done to your liking.
